Description of Techkon SpectroDens "New Generation" Basic

• The new Techkon SpectroDens densitometers with color display are available in 3 models.
  A Bacis with essential density functions, an Advanced version which, in addition to the functions of the Bacis model, has, among other things, additional densitometer functions and a color library, as well as Techkon's flagship SpectroDens Premium.
  Should you wish, each model can be upgraded at a later date using software updates.
  
  SpectroDens is a universal measuring device, i.e. universally used for quality control in the printing industry as well as for other tasks where colors must be judged critically. SpectroDens is exceptionally suitable for any application. Thanks to the individually adjustable display functions, you can quickly set up the device for your specific job. The solid aluminum unibody housing makes the device a reliable tool
  even in a harsh industrial environment. Direct placement of the measuring head on the measuring field ensures a safe and fast measurement.
  
  All SpectroDens models are equipped with track wheels, so that in addition to single measurements, scanning measurements can be carried out. This supports short scans for various measurement functions (see Specifications). Thanks to the measurement function SCAN, SpectroDens Premium even enables universal scans of up to 100 measuring patches on print control strips.
  
  As a spectro-densitometer, SpectroDens combines the qualities of a highly accurate spectrophotometer and an easy-to-use densitometer. The measurement is spectral, i.e. the entire color's information – the color's spectral fingerprint – is precisely recorded. The data is converted to measurement data for descriptive analysis and display:
  - Densitometric data is widely used in quality control during the printing process.
  - Colorimetric data is used in the evaluation of print proofing, the creation of color profiles in color management as well as the color matching and formulation of inks.
