How do you compare the price of the rolls?

Since many manufacturers have different lengths on the roll, it can often be difficult to just compare the price of the individual roll. It is therefore very important that you look at the square meter price of the paper. To make it easy for you, we have sorted by the lowest m2 price on this page, so you don't have to think about it.

Print finished A1 and A0

Almost everyone who is looking for plotter paper is looking for paper for printing finished A1 and A0 drawings. To do this, you need rolls with a width of 594 mm for A1 and 841 mm to create A0 drawings.

Here are the finished sizes
A1 - 840 x 594 mm
A0 - 1188 x 840 mm

So in order to be able to print A1, you should have a minimum 24" printer (61 cm) from Epson, Canon or HP.
In order to be able to print A0, you should have a minimum 36" printer (91.4 cm) from Epson, Canon or HP.

Can I use a different paper than the one marked on my plotter?

A typical misunderstanding we often encounter is that because you have an HP plotter, you can only use HP plotter paper. This is a big misconception. Even if you have an HP plotter, you can use Epson or Canon plotter paper in the printer. Both Epson, Canon and HP use the same printing technology, so you are not limited in your choice of plotter paper.
