SureLab D500

The SL-D500 is a compact, lightweight and portable photo production printer, for 10x15cm simplex and duplex photos, calendars and cards.

Overview

The SL-D500 is ideal for photo retailers, copy shops, designers and artists, as well as events, hospitality and photo box markets. This compact and lightweight production printer is space-efficient, portable and stackable. It produces the same high-quality images as the SL-D1000(A) and is ideal for the production of 10x15cm simplex and duplex photos, calendars and cards.

Compact, lightweight and portable

The SL-D500 features a small footprint and is the lightest and most compact SureLab printer in the Epson range. This is particularly useful when the printer needs to be transported to an event or moved to a different location onsite.

Seamless integration

As the SL-D500 is compact and lightweight, up to three printers can be stacked to form a production tower to improve productivity. It can also work seamlessly alongside Epson DTG, signage and LFP printers.

Enhanced connectivity

This photo production printer includes USB, LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity for ease of use. Epson Cloud Solution PORT and Order Controller also support the SL-D500.

Overview 

The series has been developed for photo shops, professional photographers and businesses that need to print high-quality photos and offer customers a wide range of products, including personalised photo books, cards and calendars. Businesses that could benefit, include: photography retail, event and photo box, stationery, hotels, cafés, bars and restaurants.

Productivity

The SL-D1000 Series features impressive print speeds of up to 385 pph1 with no compromise on quality. Cartridges have been replaced by Epson’s Integrated Ink Pack System ink bags, providing 25% more ink than their predecessor, resulting in fewer ink changes, reduced downtime and less waste. Productivity is also improved when used in combination with the optional duplex feeder (included with the SL-D1000A).

Flexibility

They're lightweight, with small footprints, and feature Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity. Users can make the best use of available space and place SL-D1000 Series printers almost anywhere, and integrate them into an existing infrastructure. Thanks to the new heating system, noise level and power consumption are reduced, which is better for the customer and the environment. They're also capable of printing on a wide range of media.

Quality

The UltraChrome D6r-S ink system provides superior image quality. The wide colour gamut delivers detailed images and realistic skin tones with smooth tonal gradations and deep, natural blacks with the superior gloss level of a dye-based printer.

Reliability

The SL-D1000 Series has been developed to keep the user running for longer with product lifetimes of 400k prints (15x10cm). Also, with New Nozzle Detection Technology they're capable of identifying missing and misaligned nozzles.
