Description of Museum glass frame for photo and art 48.3 x 32.9 cm (A3+) - Oak

  • Frame with Museum Glass for Photos and Art that fits 48.3 x 32.9 cm.
This frame is part of our premium frame series, where we've taken a significant step beyond the normal frames you know from both our standard range and from almost all other frames on the market.
In our premium series, we provide this frame with museum glass, but you can also get a slightly cheaper version with non-reflective glass.
The frames are made with genuine wood oak veneer. This is done to keep the frame light, but still look and feel like real wood when it hangs on the wall.
Frames in white and black are, of course, just painted to still maintain the texture of the wood.
All of this is crafted to a perfect blend of quality and price.

If you want to see the frames in person, schedule a visit to our office in Hvidovre, where we have them on display.

Note! - Please note that the price for Oak and Dark Oak is slightly higher than for Black and White frames

    Museum Glass

Our museum glass is the most commonly used type, called UV 70%.
Museum glass is often simply referred to as invisible glass. It is the crème de la crème in glass and is often a requirement from museums to display works.
Once you have seen museum glass in person, you'll almost never choose anything else when you don't want to compromise.
We've experienced multiple times that customers and visitors leave fingerprints on our demo frames because they simply can't see the glass.

    Dimensions

    • The edge visible from the front is 20 mm wide.

    Shipping of Frames

Because the glass is fragile during shipping, our premium frames are only delivered on pallets from A3 size and above.
Smaller frames can still be sent with GLS for direct delivery or to a parcel shop.

Need a Frame with Museum Glass in Custom Size?

We can make our frames with museum glass in custom sizes, so you can get exactly what you need.
However, we have a maximum size of 120x160 cm.
    Simply order it here.
  • Product Video

To illustrate the difference between our regular, anti-reflective, and museum glass, we have chosen to conduct a wave test.

It is important for you to notice our employee's reflection, who is standing and waving. You will see that he becomes more invisible when he moves from regular to anti-reflective glass and is 100% invisible with our new museum glass.
This effect will make your pictures and portraits more unique, and they will not be negatively affected by light from your windows or surroundings.

If you have any questions about our different types of glass, we are ready to advise you in our chat function.
The video should be viewed in full screen.
